Tuna Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shell noodles
  • 3 cans 5 ounces each solid white albacore tuna, drained
  • 1/2 large red onion minced
  • 4 celery ribs diced
  • 1 cup thawed frozen peas
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh dill
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shell noodles and cook according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water until the pasta is cooled. Drain well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, tuna, onion, celery, and peas.
  • In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
