Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with the egg, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce (if using), garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well, but avoid overhandling the meat so that the burgers do not turn out tough.
Divide the mixture into portions and form the patties with your hands, giving them the desired shape and thickness. If you prefer, you can use a hamburger mold to shape them more uniformly.
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
While the burgers are cooking, you can lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, and then add your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard, etc.
Serve the burgers with fries, salad or any other accompaniment you prefer. And to enjoy!
This is a basic recipe, but you can customize it by adding your favorite seasonings and spices, as well as experimenting with different types of meat or vegetarian alternatives. Have fun cooking!
