STUFFED POTATO ROLL

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Filling of choice (can be ground beef with spices, sautéed vegetables with cheese, shredded chicken, etc.)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking sheet.

Wash the potatoes well and fish them if you wish. Then, cut them into large pieces and place them in a pot with enough water to cover them.

Boil the potatoes until tender. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the pieces.

Drain the potatoes and place them in a large bowl. Add the butter, milk, salt and pepper.

Using a potato masher or fork, mash the potatoes until smooth and homogeneous. Let cool a little.

Spread the potato mixture on wax paper forming a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick.

Distribute the filling of your choice over the potato dough evenly.

Using the wax paper to help you, begin rolling the potato dough with the filling inside. Squeeze gently to ensure the roll is compact.

Place the potato roll on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy on the outside.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Enjoy your potato roll filled with the filling you like the most! You can accompany it with a sauce of your choice to give it an extra touch of flavor.
