The first step is to prepare the potatoes.

You should begin by thoroughly washing and drying the potatoes. Depending on your preferences, you have the option of selecting a variety of your choosing, either with or without your choice of peel.

Cutting and seasoning is the second step.

In order to ensure that the potatoes cook evenly, cut them into thin slices or sticks and make an effort to maintain uniformity. After that, place the potatoes in a bowl and combine them with the spices of your choosing. Some examples of seasonings are salt, black pepper, paprika, and other herbs like rosemary or garlic powder.

Egg white coating is the third step.

After separating the egg white from the yolk, give the egg white a gentle beating until it begins to get somewhat foamy after the separation. In order to ensure that each potato slice is completely coated, dip it into the egg white that has been beaten. During the cooking process, this phase will play the role of a crispy coating.

It is important to ensure that the egg white-coated chips do not overlap when they are placed on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper. Bake the chips at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 25 to 30 minutes, flipping them over halfway through the cooking process. A golden crunch will be produced as a result of the egg white drying up and crystallizing.
