Hot Cheese Dip with Bacon

When it comes to making appetizers and dip recipes for the holidays and all throughout the year, you want something simple but also something that packs a lot of flavor. This cheese dip will do the trick.

Similar to my cheesy bean dip this hot cheese dip with bacon is perfect for sharing and great for parties, game day events, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz of Gruyere cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • green onions, thinly sliced
  • Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. In a medium sized bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, gruyere cheese, bacon (reserve some for topping the dip), and combine thoroughly with a spoon.
    3. Pour into a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 35 minutes.
    4. Remove from oven. Top with additional bacon and green onions. Serve warm.
